Visual TOM: new modules and features are available!

After delivery of the Dashboard module, which offers a view of jobs scheduled for businesses from personalised Cockpits, Absyss delivered 3 new modules:

• SmartView Web: a cockpit constructed automatically based on the user’s rights. It is no longer necessary to spend time managing representation and navigation.
• SmartView Mobile: track critical jobs from your smartphone. No matter where they are, users can display and easily anticipate the situation in a few swipes!
• Self-Service: a solution for the end user, who can autonomously and quickly request operations managed by Visual TOM (initiation of chains, execution of work on demand, value setting, etc.) without having any technical knowledge, and by lightening the operational load.
  The operational teams no longer need to manage emails, calls or tickets to respond to user requests by performing low value added tasks!

Additionally, the high-availability solution Visual TOM Backup Server has been improved, and now has reversible roles: when the Backup Server has taken over after the loss of the Primary server, high availability is no longer provided. This uncomfortable situation requires restoring a secured environment as quicky as possible. To accomplish this, it is necessary to reduce the procedure to the maximum extent possible, without shutting down service, the former Primary server now, in its turn, becoming the Backup Server.
